Executive Summary:


To call upon Cebu-- all sectors and all citizens of Cebu's society -- to converge under one purpose. SNAF would like to organize an island-wide fun run event for the cause for the Environment, as well as for the following goals. Increase visibility of, and endorsement and financial support for SNAF's flagship project, the Thousand-Island Project (TIP). Draw financial support for SNAF and the Sea Knights, SNAF’s environmental partner, and their work on coastal healing and revitalization. Raise awareness of the needs of the upland communities that surround the Cebu River Basin. Engage and raise the consciousness and commitment of the masses towards their role as stewards of the Environment. To introduce the launching of “Public Communal Toilets” for Barangay Buhisan as initial recipient.This is also to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of the Buhisan Dam and FuenteOsmena Circle Link.
Run route:


The run will start at the Basilica's Pilgrim Center; and then a run-walk-cycle from the Basilica through Osmena Boulevard past FuenteOsmeña, to Capitol, to M. Velez, turn right to V. Rama Avenue, go around to Guadalupe Church, to Barangay Napo, ending up at the Buhisan Dam and Tisa Filter Plant.
