The route is 85% coastal and scenic on paved road. First 1.5k is uphill. The next 8k will be rolling but after that, it is relatively flat. Turning point of the 42k is the Malabuyoc Church. Runners will go around the historic Church. As promised by Mayor Creus, this will be lined up by cheerers and supporters. The last 1k will be trail run along the Kawasan river ( as shown in the pictures) leading up to the finish line which midpoint towards the Kawasan Falls. We also met with Badian Mayor Robert Librando with all his staff ( Vice Mayor, Budget Officer, DECS head, and PNP Chief. Nearly the entire route will be secured during this event. They are all very excited about this event and pledged their full support to ensure its success..
